FRACTIONAL FAMILY OFFICE
Service Overview
A Fractional Family Office is a model in which selected family office functions are outsourced to external specialists, providing experienced support without the need to build a full in-house family office.
PLUTO works alongside owners and founder families, helping organize information, coordinate advisors, and support long-term decision-making.
Case 1 — Coordinating Professional Advisors
Many owners and founder families work with multiple professional advisors, including accountants, lawyers, banks, securities firms, real estate managers, and investment managers.
While each advisor contributes within their own area of expertise, responsibility for coordinating information and maintaining an overall perspective is often absent.
PLUTO's role
PLUTO coordinates information across these professional relationships, helping organize issues from a broader perspective while supporting the owner's decision-making process and serving as a long-term strategic advisor.
Case 2 — Overseeing Complex Investment Portfolios
Many families already hold diversified portfolios consisting of public equities, investment funds, private investments, and real estate.
Although each investment manager provides individual reporting, responsibility for evaluating the portfolio as a whole and considering capital allocation often remains fragmented.
PLUTO's role
PLUTO does not sell investment products.
Acting from a neutral position, PLUTO evaluates and oversees individual investments and investment managers from a family office perspective, helping owners determine what should be retained, reconsidered, or reallocated.
Final investment decisions always remain with the owner.
Case 3 — Tailored Family Office Support
Every family has different circumstances, priorities, and objectives.
The examples above represent common situations, but each engagement is designed according to the client's asset structure, business stage, and long-term goals.
PLUTO's role
PLUTO works with each client to design a tailored operating model, providing ongoing strategic support while assisting the owner's decision-making process.
The PLUTO Approach
PLUTO does not act as a product distributor or investment manager.
Our role is to organize information, coordinate specialists, evaluate investment opportunities and investment managers, and support the owner's decision-making from a neutral perspective.
The final decisions always remain with the owner.
